Younha who recently returned with her 2nd album, said she fulfilled her dream of being a stewardess. Younha stated, "While traveling between Korean and Japan, I've always wanted to become a stewardess. But since that wasn't possible, I dressed up as one in my MV, hence making my dream come true." In her title track Telepathy, Younha seduces a man in a sexy stewardess uniform. source: allkpop

Kim Dong Wan and Younha Fantasy Duet

Kim Dong Wan and Younha fantasy-like duet on the 30th August recording of Kim Jung Eun’s Chocolate variety has become a hot topic among fans.

During the recording, Kim Dong Wan and Younha performed a song together to couples who were going to get married soon in the segment aptly called “just married”. They reprised the duet song of “Something Stupid” which was performed by Robbie Williams and Nicole Kidman in 2002 and showed perfect chemistry, winning the applause from the couples and audience.

Younha also said, “I really love listening to Kim Dong Wan radio show “Ten Ten Club” when I was a student. My dedication letter was once read out online by him.” Dong Wan replied back, “As a young friend, I’m really envious of the fact she can already embark on an exciting solo career already”. He also revealed that Younha will appear as a guest at his solo concert later this month.

21-year-old YounHa did an interview recently and she revealed her ideal guy - Epik High’s DJ Tukutz.

(Part of the interview)

Q: With all that talk that we have done so far, you seemed reserved. You seemed more matured as compared to others at your age.

YounHa: Ahaha. It just that I hide much of my feelings a lot. But with people I am close to, I’m different.

Q: Really? I am curious. Who are you close to?

YounHa: Recently, I’m quite close to WonderGirls and KARA lately, and seonbae Epik High.

Q: Amongst them, who is the closest to your ideal type.

YounHa: There are lot of them out there who are charming. But to find all that I want in my ideal guy in just one person - not one of them.

Q: But if you have to choose one person?

YounHa: Ahaha. Erm, Tukutz oppa? Tukutz oppa is charming. I also like (Ta)Blo oppa. But as I say, there really isn’t one person who is my ideal type.

Younha makes powerful comeback

Younha is out to re-energize the dull Kpop scene by infusing it with modern rock, pop-rock and electronca. She made a comeback on Mnet, performing two of her songs from her latest 2nd album "Someday". She performed "Memory", a duet with Epik High's Tablo. This calm electronica song was written, composed and featured by Tablo. Younha also performed her title song "Telepathy", a signature pop-rock piece that really makes the stage electric with her clear-cut vocals.

Younha also achieved the "impossible" by officially surpassing Big Bang's album sales record to take 1st place.

Younha: See ya Next Sunday

It feels like we’re constantly hearing of pop stars venturing forth into acting, and this time it’s rock-ish pop singer Younha who’ll give it a shot. She makes her acting debut in a Japanese film, titled Next Sunday, and explained that the director, Kenmochi Satoki, “saw me singing on a Japanese program, came upon an idea and had the script written. After hearing that, I couldn’t turn down this role.”

Younha has actually already appeared in a short film, 2005’s Day of Praise [천사가 내려온 날], but this project is considered her official acting debut. The movie is described as a “quietly drawn film” that follows a young Korean woman studying in Japan who falls in love with an older Japanese man.

She explained, “The crew is all Japanese, and so is the dialogue. Although it’s produced in Japan and is a ‘99% made in Japan’ film, since the movie deals with the lead girl’s development, there will be some Korean spoken too.”
