Question: Which points in [Love or Bread] is most attracted to you?
Yi Chen: The understanding and tacit understanding that the 2 leads have build when they started to live together, because both of their personalities are the total opposite of each other, the way they are attracted to each other has attracted me greatly.

Xiao Zhong: Character, the female lead is Yi Chen and Director Lin He Long, those are the things where [Love or Bread] is attracted to me. Because the personality of the male character is a role that I have never tried before, even though I’m not sure that I will be able to grasp the character when I first accepted it but no matter what, I still want to take on this role bravely, this is what I was feeling when I first accepted this role.

Q: The characters in the series, are there any similarities to yourselves?
Yi Chen: Shan Mei is as boring as me, like even though she is exhausted, she still has the momentum to continue on to do things, this is very similar to me, many people often thinks that I am very boring, has a very difficult life and when I joined into this field I have become even more boring! It’s not that I am always in a combat mood but I will have nightmares very often, I have never stop from having these dreams, it's like I am having a minor nervous breakdown or something (Smiles). Now I have learned how to search for happiness from my pressure, and I will have a regular time for me to ride my bikes, riding on the paths in Ba-Li, wind blowing, watching sunset, that’s my greatest enjoyment!

Xiao Zhong: Frank is similar to me, if I get to sit then for sure I won’t be standing and if I get to lie down then for sure I won’t be sitting. (Reporter: It’s that the meaning of laziness?) Just trying to get the chance for me to rest; allowing myself to feel comfortable.

Q: Which scene is the most unforgettable and which scene was the hardest to film?
Yi Chen: The hardest part is not about those physical difficulties! It happens to be where you have to film about 30 scenes in 1 day, all happens to be the emotional heavy scenes, so the director has started to tell us a lot of his past and very sad love story, there’s a big gap for sure but I was able to understand them! (Ha) After filming these kind of scenes, you will be very exhausted, sometime after all these crying you will feel very enjoyable, it’s very contradicting sometimes. To me, sometimes it is like I am showing the emotions that I have suppressed within myself. (Reporter: You are very quiet, so normally how do you release your emotions?) I am similar to everyone, I will go to sing sad songs in KTV and just release them (emotions) by simply singing a song.

Xiao Zhong: I think that since the beginning when we were filming the main location, the scenes that were involved in that location were very difficult, because that time (we) just started to get into the role and has to film about 100 scenes within 4 days; under this kind of circumstances, and with my own logic and experience, it is totally impossible, but we did able to finish filming those scenes within 4 days as planned. I still remember that day when we finished those scenes, I sat on the bench in the park, looking at the sky, with a blank face, recalling what has happened during those 4 days, what did I do that could actually accomplished this mission impossible.

Q: To you, what type of [Wealthy Bread] are you looking for in your life?
Yi Chen: Able to have a lot of people who love me and who I love continue to enjoy my life with me, and hope that in the future there’s a significant other who will also do the same as me.

Xiao Zhong: I think that it doesn’t have a particular exact shape, should be [Xin Fu]! Like when you have a full stomach, get to eat delicious food, being in love, good friends celebrating birthday with you, giving red packets (money), actually we can have xin fu very easily, as long as you know how to cherish it. Maybe when you’re thirsty, drink the water and soothe your thirst that is one of the xin fu too. I really believe that all the tiny things that happen in life, you will be able to notice those tiny xin fu feelings, it only depends on whether you know how to cherish it or not.

Q: In the series, you are willing to become a fool when it comes to love, in real life, how do you view love?
Yi Chen: I think when a girl is in a relationship! Their belief has to be slow but their tactics have to be wise. Like you cannot give a fake heart to the person, but to maintain a long relationship, you still have to have a bit tactics and small tricks. (Reporter: If you have slow belief, wouldn’t your mind turn into emptiness as well?) Nope! Even if the bottom is a sea of knives, I will also jump but I will be fully prepared with safely suit before jumping. It’s a pity that I haven’t met that person yet, at the moment, there's nobody that can make me willing to take the jump yet! But I feel that if I love a person, then I should work hard on it! No matter what happen, at least I have worked hard on it!

Q: In the series Tsai Jin Lai is a person who loves to imagine, loves money and power, did you ever find yourself getting lost from your values in money and fame?
Xiao Zhong: Should have at least a little bit! When you shot to fame that quickly, sometime you will get lost in it when you have some comments that comes from a certain group of people! And (you'll) see things in 2 extreme versions, sometimes you will be utterly depress while sometime you will be utterly happy. (How do you pull yourself back?) Rely on my ways in handling them or guidance from my seniors or elders who remind me. (The best solutions will be?) The critics from the elders, it is very useful for me, will wake me up very easily. So even if I get lost in it for just a little while, I am able to wake up very quickly. (Laughed)
