News have it that Kim Hyun Joong’s manager was involved in an assault cast with a high school girl near the filming set of drama Boys Over Flowers.

It was said that Kim Hyun Joong’s manager had tried to stop a high school girl who spotted his car and came running after it on 23rd March in Seoul KangDongGoo.

The high school girl had provided for the police investigation, “I was on my way home and I saw what looked like a car of an entertainer and went forward to see. But the manager had caught me by my collar and started hitting on my head.”

While from Kim Hyun Joong side, it was said that, “The kids had approached the car and started swearing but we have no intention for assault. Everything went back to normal after we went to the police station for investigation.”

Kim Hyun-joong's Guerilla Date on Entertainment Relay

It looks like Kim Hyun-joong decides to go to Lotte World /Magic Land for his "Guerilla Date" segment on Entertainment Relay. In the entertainment program, celebrities are taken for a walk along the streets or in a public place and is interviewed by one of the hosts on the show.

Kim Hyun-joong (23) took a break from filming KBS2 drama Boys Before Flowers for his interview. Fondly known as Ji-hoo sunbae (지후선배) in the drama, the 23 year-old singer/actor looked just as charming and romantic as his character. Although he was rather playful in this interview session. He challenged the reporter to taking the Gyro Drop -- a heart stopping exhilarating ride in the amusement park.

Hyun-joong's "Guerilla Date" will be broadcast on White Day (March 14) on KBS2, 9:50pm

SS501: HyunJoong - From South Pacific to Macau to Japan

This 2008 year end is an overseas year end for SS501 leader Kim Hyunjoong.
For filming his upcoming drama Korean ‘Boys over Flowers’, Kim Hyunjoong spent most of his year end time abroad.

Kim Hyunjoong, and other Boys over Flowers casts like: Kim Bum, Lee Minho, Kimjoon as F4 member at the end of November went to New Caledonia in the South Pacific as its first overseas location.

After the shooting in New Caledonia, Hyunjoong was taking a short break, then he leave Korea for Macau on December 1 & 2 for 2nd overseas shooting location and will stay in Macau until Dec 15, 2008. Next, on Dec 17, he will be leaving for Japan with the rest of SS501 member to perform an activity.

Hyunjoong agency DSP Entertainment said : “It is actually hard for Hyunjoong being in this kind of situation, it’s even hard for him being at the overseas so often since his early career, since being around foreigners is a quite hard situation for him.”

SS501 leader Kim Hyun Joong reveals the pictures which he draw in his free time.

He is known as the brusque young ‘husband’ in ‘We Got Married’ who treats others with his warm heart and sometimes also known for his irrelevant imagination.

Until now, we know little of this hidden talent in him.

From the pictures, we see impersonations of the other SS501 members in some of the characters drawn and also extraterrestrial beings and skeletons, which are some of Hyun Joong’s favourites.

Hyun Joong has grown from a handsome young groom into a mature man.

Hyun Joong has recently signed a contract with 'T.I For Men', a man's clothing line. Hyun Joong has recently been very popular with female viewers thanks to WGM in which he is coupled with the older Hwang Bo, where he shows his stiff yet absurd charms.

T.I For Men's marketing department said that Hyun Joong fitted with their needs for their line as a comfortable and natural urban look. They also said that Hyun Joong's excellent sense of fashion and metrosexual image was what they were looking for.

Hyun Joong will introduce this brand in fall. He is also considered to be the the number 1 choice for a leading role in the drama 'Hana Yori Dango' which has been extremely popular in Japan and Taiwan.

Kim Hyun Joong Overdoses on Sleeping Pills

Kim Hyun Joong, leader of popular idol group SS501 was admitted to a local hospital ER early this morning after overdosing on sleeping pills.

According to hospital staff, Kim Hyun Joong overdosed on sleeping pills and were found to be in an unconsicious state (severe deep sleep) at 7.20am. He was immediately whisked off to Samsung Medical Center for emergency treatment. He is reportedly in stable condition and has returned home.

The hospital representative explained that Kim Hyun Joong had taken sleeping pills to get to sleep more easily but just overdosed on them. SS501 management, DSP Entertainment confirmed the hospital statement in a phone interview, “Kim Hyun Joong had a hard time getting to sleep so he took a sleeping pill. But it didn’t have any effect so he took a couple more. That’s all to it really.” He added, “Kim Hyun Joong sometimes takes sleeping pills when he can’t get to sleep like normal so it isn’t really much of an issue here.”

SS501 will make their comeback in the middle of October with a new album and are expected to duke it out with fellow boybands DBSK and Big Bang.
