The famous film and commercial director passed away in an hospital in Shibuya. It was found out about his death on Friday. According to other sources, Ichikawa was taken to a hospital after he collapsed while away from home.
Ichikawa first movie was made in 1987 titled “BU-SU” and he later on kept making movies. His famous movie was “Tony Takitani”.
His newest work is titled “buy a suit,” which is scheduled to make its world premiere in the Japanese Eyes section of this year’s Tokyo International Film Festival (October 18-26).
