Chae Tae Hyun and Kim Jung Eun who played as lovers in MBC TV drama “Sunflower” 10 years ago, will be reunited once again in MBC’s upcoming weekend drama “General Hospital 2“.
Before the actual filming of “General Hospital 2″, Director Roh Do Chul organized a sports and games event at an open ground, aimed at nurturing the understanding between the casts. He chose the two lead as the leaders and separated the team into “General team” (Cha Tae Hyun) and “Hospital team” (Kim Jung Eun).
Director Roh Do Chul said, “I wish to gather the casts for some games before the filming. As we will have to spend like 4 months in the hospital once the filming starts, it is better for the cast to know each other better”.
Kim Jung Eun said, “I didn’t think I will get to attend such an event before filming. In the past, everyone just gathered for dinner and thats all. Now I’m happy that everyone gets to know each other better through playing games”.
Cha Tae Hyun said, “I do feel a little bit shy in the beginning. However, as I play more, it gets more interesting. This is a good chance to mingle with the crews and seniors”.
In 1994, South Korea’s first ever medical themed drama “General Hospital” set off a craze after its broadcast. Now 14 years later, MBC’s “General Hospital 2″ will not only have Lee Jae Ryung, Jo Kyung Hwan who were the original cast in season one, there will also be Cha Tae Hyun, Kim Jung Eun and Lee Jong Won.
MBC’s “General Hospital 2” is scheduled to premiere in November, replacing “My Woman”.
