Check out Mai Nishida in Visual Young Jump. I think it's supposed to be cute + sexy, but I find it slightly hard to associate a sexy bod with too cute a face!

Although I wish Hwang Mi Hee would put her hair back a little and reveal her assets that everyone so loves, I guess we can't complain. She's sizzling in her tight little outfit at CJ 2010 and I couldn't ask for more. Enjoy:

Suffering from nose allergies and asthma, Ella Koon gets affected by second hand smoke, and she has always resisted smoking: "One time there were many renovation workers smoking in my living room and I inhaled second hand smoke while I was sleeping. I was awakened by my asthma. Not only do I not like smoking, but I also feel difficulty in breathing. When I was shooting a movie, many of the crew members or the director smokes, but I did not dare to say too much, didn't want to look like a Big Sister asking everyone to stop smoking, I just stayed away."

Yesterday Ella attended a "Brotherhood Chinese Medical Service Vehicle" expansion ceremony and greatly praised the Chinese method of using medical vehicles to provide smoking cessation services. Ella cannot accept her other half being a smoker: "No matter how good the man is, if he smokes, then he absolutely cannot be my boyfriend." Ella expressed that there once was a smoker boyfriend who quit smoking because of her, she joked and said that she is quite influential. Speaking of her doctor boyfriend, does he accept Chinese medicine? Ella expressed that she's not sure.

TAIPEI: Taiwan star Jay Chou can finally add another title to his resume: television host.

The first episode of Chou's new talk show "Mr J Channel" was recorded on Tuesday, fulfilling the pop icon's dream of being a bona fide television host, reported Taiwan media.

Chou described his new show as "a combination of dance, music, wit and humour".

It will feature Chou's choreographer and dance trainer Ice Cream and Wheat, along with his make-up artist Du Guo Zhang and Eri Otoguro, a starlet who had previously appeared in one of Chou's music video.

"These people grew up with me and we are very familiar with what makes each other laugh. We have chemistry. The interaction will be very natural and the humour won't be fake," said Chou of the cast.

Of course, the man himself will also step up to do some hosting in each episode.

When asked if he, a man of few words, is confident of his hosting abilities, Chou replied that it will not be a problem.

"When I started out [in showbiz], I may have been a little worried. But after a decade in the entertainment industry, I am quite confident in my speaking ability now and I am not afraid of any awkward moments," said the 30-year-old.

However, the superstar went on to explicitly state that every episode will follow his strict policy of 'three don'ts' – he will not sing, dance or act.

Chou also pointed out that he has full say on the show's guests and "people whom I am always linked to will never appear".

Does that mean we will never see pop princess and ex Jolin Tsai on the show?

Avex Entertainment announced on Thursday that the three-member group JUNSU/JEJUNG/YUCHUN (of TVXQ) will be putting their activities in Japan on hold for the time being, due to problems with their management agency. The bad news came just after the group simultaneously topped the album and DVD sales charts this week.

Junsu, Jejung, and Yuchun are managed by the Korean agency CJeS Entertainment. It was learned that a representative of the company, whose father is part of the leadership of a criminal organization, used his father's position to commit blackmail and extortion against the artists he managed. He is also said to have served a prison sentence.

According to Avex, a recently conducted investigation could not determine whether the man has ties to the organization at this point in time, but it found that the other allegations are true.

Meanwhile, the lawsuit over the exclusivity of their management contract is progressing, and it appears that there is now a high probability that Avex's contract with the three artists will be declared invalid. Until that matter is resolved, Avex has determined that it should no longer manage the group's activities in Japan.

Although the decision has been made, Avex stated there will be no changes to their already scheduled releases or their current services. Furthermore, this matter should not affect Avex's exclusive contract for TVXQ, which was made with SM Entertainment.

Masaki Kobayashi's 1962 film "Seppuku" (also known overseas as "Harakiri") is getting a 3D remake, with Takashi Miike taking the helm as director. The starring role, originally played by Tatsuya Nakadai (77), will be handed over to Ebizo Ichikawa (32), who last starred in the 2006 movie "Deguchi no Nai Umi" ("Sea Without Exit").

The "Seppuku" remake will have the honor of being the first jidaigeki film in 3D. Due to the classic status and famous cast members of the original work, Miike's version will undoubtedly draw much attention. Miike is looking to start shooting next month, with a release date sometime in 2011.
