Korea's top boy band SS501 is finally coming to meet with Taiwan fans! The 5 members, who're currently growing, eat a lot, through their manager, they expressed their wishes that where ever they go for activities, there will be hamburgers, fried chicken, etc, high calorie food, so that they can replenish their energy anytime.

As it's their first visit to Taiwan, everyone in SS501 is looking forward to tasting the bubble tea that Taiwan is famous for, and also hope their fans can suggest other special, "must-drink" drinks in Taiwan.

This time, SS501's visit to Taiwan with an enormous group of personnel, the members, staff and dancers, a total of 22 people, is expected to arrive in Taiwan on the 27th, 11am. The first time coming to Taiwan and meeting fans as well as carrying out promotional activities, the 5 big boys are easygoing with regards to food, only hoping that their food does not contain seasonings such as aniseed, hot pepper, coriander ,etc.

Taeyeon has been protecting the radio booth alone for over a month since Kangin stepped down from the FM4U 'Kangin Taeyeon's Chinhan Chingoo'. On the 24th June, the boys released their debut single ‘My Heaven’ and in the morning they also appeared on Mezamashi TV programme. On the programme, Big Bang was introduced as ‘Korea’s Best Aritste’ and they also talked about the group’s debut single just released.

On the show, they also revealed Big Bang’s dormitory in Japan. TaeYang, “This is the first time we are revealing our dormitory on TV.” feeling a little embarrassed. In the apartment, many CD, comics, figurines etc can be seen.

Louis Koo Tin Lok, Sean Lau Ching Wan Fu and Stephy Tang attended the opening ceremony for new movie, “Poker King” 《撲克王》yesterday. Louis Koo’s character will be a Poker master in the movie, and he will have a showdown with Sean Lau. Stephy’s character will be a gambling addict; she will play Louis’ girlfriend.

Several days ago, Louis was discovered in considering the purchase of a $150 million (HKD) Repulse Bay luxury property. Louis acknowledged that he saw the property, but did not Wan Fut to discuss further as this was a family matter.

In “Poker King,” Louis’ character will be an eccentric and highly skilled poker player. Prior to filming, Louis spent time learning poker playing skills and the habits of gamblers. Gillian Chung is to team up with two prominent Hong Kong stage actors Chen Shuyi and Shaw Mei Kwan in a stage drama "I Ought to Be in Pictures", which starts performances in late August.

In the drama, Gillian Chung plays the daughter of Chen Shuyi, while Shaw Mei Kwan is Chen's girlfriend.

As Chung's theatrical debut, she admitted feeling pressure because, as a stage performance, it allows no chance to start over once the drama begins.

However, she says she is quite pleased to collaborate with the two other actors and wishes to learn more from them.

Chung seems to be moving on since her return to the public eye after a nude photo scandal with Edison Chen.

Breaking the silence about her break up with Leon Lai, the Taiwanese actress said: "We have to look on the bright side. I am not a woman who falls into the abyss of love. Although it isn't easy to recover from a breakup, I choose to be positive."

The 33-year-old told Apple Daily that her relationship with the Hong Kong Heavenly King had been a happy and close one.

The pair first met on the set of the movie, "City of Glass" - when Shu Qi was 22 - and started dating not long after.

However, their relationship sparked furore from Leon's fans as they felt that Shu Qi, an ex-pornography actress, was not good enough for him.

Apart from his fans' backlash, Shu Qi also had to endure rumours of Leon's scandals with other actresses.

Raymond Lam and Tavia Yeung in new TVB series

Following the concert, Raymond Lam will be filming a new series with Tavia Yeung and Kenneth Ma which is scheduled to commence filming in July. This series was written and drawn under the inspiration of Japan’s famous TV series ‘Detective Galileo’.

The tentative title of the series is [談情說案], taking the role as Galileo, Raymond, is a university associate professor in physics. As a rational scientist, he believes that in everything, there exists a connection with the philosophy of science.

Raymond will pair up with the criminal investigator, Tavia in solving many criminal cases. In the new series, they will be romantically linked up as well.

Queen of Housewives hottie Yoon Sang-hyun (the “thirtysomething Gu Jun-pyo”) has scored big with his follow-up project: acting opposite Yoon Eun-hye in the upcoming romantic comedy series Lady Castle.

Yoon Sang-hyun is a last-minute hire; he met with producers on June 23 and after coming to an agreement, they are heading into final contract negotiations. As soon as those are finalized, he’ll enter into filming immediately. He had actually been a strong contender to head Magazine Allo — which would have also been hunky-dory with me — but because of the plagiarism accusations and subsequent scheduling delays, he chose Lady Castle. (Maybe that’s why Magazine Allo producers were particularly peeved with Style for ruining their production.)

The story of Lady Castle situates Yoon Eun-hye as as the “princess-like” middle daughter in a rich household. She crosses paths with a poor man who becomes the household manager (who secretly aims to get at the family’s hidden slush fund), and is involved in a love triangle with him and a rich man from an aristocratic family.

Singer Ivy, 27 (real name Park Eun-hye), drew the spotlight at a recent concert of Cho Won-seon, which she went to see with her boyfriend, songwriter Kim Tae-sung. A concert official said the two were invited to the concert by the performance team and looked like a very affectionate couple. They even politely turned down an offer to wait in the waiting room and entered the concert venue along with other audience members.

Ivy suspended her singing career after her former boyfriend threatened in November 2007 to disclose an intimate video of her. In January this year she disclosed her relationship with Kim Tae-sung.

Cho Won-seon's concert marked the release of her first solo album. It was held June 19-20 at the Performance Art Center in Daehakno. Guest-performers included Yoon Sang, Yoo Hee-yeol and Kim Dong-ryul. Actor Lee Seon-kyun and his wife Jun Hye-jin, who are close friends with Yoon Sang, also attended the concert.

Cho Won-seon plans to continue her activities with the song "Nobody, Nothing" from her first album, which she performs in a duet with Yoon Sang.
