TAIWANESE supermodel Lin Chiling was appointed by Swiss watch maker Longines as its "international ambassador of elegance" last week.

At the announcement at the Shanghai World Financial Center in Pudong, Lin danced with children dressed in various national costumes.

As its new international ambassador, Lin will help promote the first "Longines Tennis Youth Dream Tour" to be held in China next month. The tour aims to discover and nurture China's young tennis talent.

Considered "Taiwan's No.1 Beauty," Lin also has a double degree in art history and economics from University of Toronto.

She has also turned her talent to hosting TV shows and award ceremonies, receiving praise for hosting Taiwan's Golden Horse Film Awards in 2004.

Last year Lin broke through in movies, landing a leading role in John Woo's film "Red Cliff" alongside stars Tony Leung and Takeshi Kaneshiro.

This month she will start shooting the action comedy "Treasure Hunter" with Taiwanese superstar Jay Chow.

Super Junior's 3rd album "Sorry sorry" has ranked #1 three weeks in a row on Hanteo chart, hottracks. Besides, the title song "Sorry sorry" has ranked #1 on many online music sites like dosirak, Mnet, bugs....

Also "Sory sorry" got No.1 on the radio weekly chart's most aired song (March 16th to March 22nd) and become the most aired song on both radio and TV.

Fans will finally get to see ‘female Big Bang‘ for the first time together this weekend!

New actress Kim Min Ji as been selected to play the character known as Umi in the original version of ‘Boys Over Flowers.’

The BOF production company revealed to the Asian Economic Daily news over the phone that, “Kim Min Ji has been decided upon to play the character known as Umi in the Japanese version and she will make her appearance on the 30th in Episode 24 uptil the 25th episode.”

Kim Min Ji was recently in the KBS drama, Empress Cheon Chu and now in BOF she will aid Goo Jun Pyo who loses his memory and ultimately cause a rift between him and Geum Jandi acting as the part of Umi.

In the meantime, ‘Boys Over Flowers’ will end it’s run with the 25th episode to be broadcast on March 31st.

Queen of J-pop Ayumi Hamasaki's 10th album titled "Next Level" is released simultaneously in Korea and Japan on Wednesday. Zai Zai, Zhao You Ting and Chen Yi han attended one of Azio Plus variety show "Azio Superstar" for promoting their new drama "Black and white".
