KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia: Get set for a "music man" experience at the Wang Lee Hom concert slated for May in Malaysia.

Fans of the four-time Golden Melody Award winner will see him perform using a custom-made Bahamut electric guitar costing US$25,700 ($39,914).

"The Bahamut is designed by Irish guitar master Alistair," said Alan Chan, managing director of show promoter Galaxy Group.

"This concert will definitely be one of the most anticipated, spectacular and remarkable music events in Malaysia this year."

The Wang Lee Hom "Music-Man" Live in Malaysia 2009 concert will be held at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil here on May 2.

Apart from just playing hit songs from his previous albums, Wang will also combine Chinese and rock music from his latest album Heartbeat.

The concert is co-presented by Boston-Hongkie F&B Restaurant Chain, and fully supported by Tourism Malaysia.

Ticket prices are RM398 ($166), RM318, RM268, RM198 RM138 (numbered seats) and RM88 (free seating).

In conjunction with Galaxy Group's 15th anniversary celebration this year, the company will reward all its loyal supporters with cash rebate scheme launched together with this concert.

With a minimum of two tickets purchased of any price categories for Wang's concert, fans will be given a RM15 voucher for Galaxy's next concert.

The offer is only available and applicable at Galaxy office at The Boulevard, Mid Valley.

Pakho Chau Performs; Complimented By Alfred Cheung

Pakho Chau was a performer at guitarist Lau Cheuk Wei's show last night and it was revealed that he was Pakho's senior in basketball; now he's an owner of a music school. They saw each other on the streets a while ago and when Cheuk Wei found out that Pakho became a singer, he invited him to his guest and bought a copy of his album, makimg him very happy. However, Pakho found out that his senior stopped teaching students for 2 months because of music, felt that it was a really big loss, but was rewarding at the same time. He admired him for doing so because of his dreams.

During the performance, the audience was filled with many music students and Pakho admitted thathe felt pressured.Luckily, he put on a satisfying performance, causing the audience to compliment on his good performance.

Da Mouth Reminisces School Times; Very Mischievous

Taiwanese group Da Mouth held a special autograph session in Taipei's Xi Men for their newest album <王元口力口>. Aisa, the lead vocalist, was invited to Japan to record by the CEO of popular Japanese brand company BAPE hurried back to Taiwan. She expressed that while she was in Japan recording, she went to the temple to pray for Da Mouth hoping they will more sucessful in the future.

The members revealed their mischievous towards other when they were younger. When MC 40 was in high school, he filled his friend's backpack with snow, causing the books inside to be ruined. His friend was very angry and even beat him up. In elementary school, Why Chou (懷秋) took a hot needle and put it against a female classmate's forehead. This left a scar on her face and he was punished by his father.

When speaking of snow, I think of ski slopes. I’ve forgotten when it was the first time I went snowboarding but even when I first started, I went boarding countless times in that one season.

Lee Hyori to release new album in September

Lee Hyori will release a new full-length album coming September.

Lee Hyori’s representative announced, “This coming September, Lee Hyori will release her 4th album. Until now, we haven’t start on the preparation work for the album, but we will be starting on the planning of the album concept etc soon.”

The Kpop diva took the Kpop zone by storm last year with her comeback 3rd album and title song ‘U-Go-Girl’.

Meanwhile, Hyori has headed for America Las Vegas on 27th February for a photoshoot and also for a short vacation. She will return to Korea on 6th march.

i-CABLE issues statement, second half of Cecilia Cheung's interview bizarrely pulled
In an exclusive interview with i-CABLE, Cecilia Cheung angrily reproved Edison Chen, this has become a hot topic in town. However some contents of Part 2 which has not aired was already leaked, last night i-CABLE issued a statement saying Part 2 will not be aired, this immediately stirred up a lot of speculation, some thought Cecilia poured out her true feelings and won lots of applause, so she quit while she is ahead; while others said she was under a lot of pressure and urgently implored i-CABLE not to air Part 2!

Last Friday i-CABLE Entertainment News aired <Cecilia Cheung . Stand Up>, in this interview Cecilia on behalf of other victims in sex photo scandal ruthlessly criticized Edison, angrily accused him of shedding crocodile tears. She poured out her true feelings, many people commended Cecilia for her honesty and bravery to assume responsibility. The interview was originally divided into two parts, in Part 1 Edison was ruthlessly criticized, the content was sensitive and controversial, not only did it receive more than 330,000 hits on YouTube, ratings also posed direct threat to TVB, it caused average ratings of E.U. that was aired in the same time slot to drop 3 points (approximately 19,000 viewers) to only 29 points. Part 2 revolves around family and the content is relatively milder, but contents of the interview was suddenly leaked the other day, it was known that Cecilia was very shocked, while i-CABLE spokesperson threatened to find the 'culprit'!

Last night, i-CABLE released a statement to express that based on respect and to protect Cecilia, they decided to cancel the airing of the second half of the interview. Actually from the TV station standpoint, i-CABLE broadcasted the interview before TVB could and created a hot topic, they should follow up their victory, therefore cancelling this broadcast was very surprising and attracted a lot of speculation.

Holds the right to cut the interview
Version one, Cecilia's interview won many applauses, so she quit while she is ahead, she was worried she could have said something inappropriate for the second half that will cause her to lose points. Also she felt that the second half of the interview is not as shocking as the first, using this excuse she asked i-CABLE not to air. Version two, on the evening of the broadcast, Cecilia under immense pressure, took the initiative to call i-CABLE and begged them not to air Part 2. Although what she said at that time was not convincing, but i-CABLE could feel that Cecilia was under tremendous pressure and beset with difficulties, also their relationship has always been good, so they finally decided to respect her intention. Reportedly, Cecilia and i-CABLE reached a consensus that the interview has to be aired under mutual consent, to avoid causing defamation of the sex photo case still under hearing, she holds the right to cut the interview. Also contents of the second half was leaked before editing, fearing contents that should not be disclosed are released, the company decided to cancel broadcast to eliminate any possibility of disclosure.

Our reporter contacted Cecilia's manager Ms Chow to ask if Cecilia proposed to cancel the broadcast, she said: "No. (Did i-CABLE ask you?) Yes they asked, but it doesn't matter if they air it or not. (Did they say what reason it was pulled?) I cannot disclose, this is beyond our control. (Was Cecilia harassed?) No, on the contrary I'm being harassed more!" Who proposed to pull the interview? i-CABLE spokeperson Ms Cheung said: "I will not respond to your individual question, the statement has already addressed it. (Temporary or never going to be aired? Before Part 1 was aired, the papers reported more shocking contents and it wasn't a problem?) The statement has made this clear, I hope everyone will not make any more speculation, Cecilia agreed to this decision."

As for Tse Yin, he said by phone: "It's better not aired! (You put pressure on Cecilia?) Don't stir this up anymore!" According to Television and Entertainment Licensing Authority (TELA), Cecilia's interview received 3 complaints about her appearance, also TVB received 3 complaints for airing the movie <Moving Targets> (cast: Edison Chen, Gillian Chung, Nicholas Tse).

Singer BoA and TVXQ are Meeting Again in Japan

BoA and TVXQ, will be together at the upcoming March 6th TV Asahi’s Music Station. Music Station is a very popular local music program in Japan.

TVXQ will perform song from their 27th single which has American music feel in it for the first time, entitled “Survivor”.

BoA and TVXQ are standing together on one stage is the first time in this year after they met at SBS Gayo Daejun last year.

TVXQ appears alone at Music Station is the first time since they debuted in Japan. TVXQ ever appeared with Koda Kumi in 2007 Last Angel, but them as one group performing their own single (on Music Station’s stage) hasn’t been seen on air yet.

Meanwhile, the top Japanese idol group Arashi will broadcast and appear at the same time, thus the competition of popularity between them seems to be unavoidable.

Wonbin willing to work as a singer again?

Oh Wonbin, who left the band FT Island stated that he was willing to work as a singer again.
