Leehom look-alike visited Jolin Tsai with dog

Jolin Tsai, whose relationships had hit the news numerous times, was spotted by Taiwan's 《壹周刊》 (a magazine) to be visited at the dance studio by a man with short hair who resembles a younger version of Leehom. He brought her dog Whoo Hoo with him and this made Jolin quite happy. This brought attention to nature of their relationship.

On the 17th, Jolin Tsai was at the dance studio practising the dance steps to her new album, which is set to be released in the second half of March. At 6 in the evening, a man with short hair and wearing a white jacket turned up at the studio with Jolin's dog in his arms. After the rehearsal, Jolin, Young Leehom and the staff went for dinner together. When they reached the restaurant, althouh her manager and assistant were around, Jolin and Young Leehom sat next to each other and chatted happiy as they ate. They seemed to be on good terms. According to the magazine, this new face is an ABC who grew up in America. Named Nick, he is about 22 and has now returned to America. He wil be graduating from university in March. His tall and sauve appearance is exactly the type Jolin likes. It seems like Nick admires Jolin and got to knnow her through his friends when he went back to Taiwan. He even joined as a performer in Jolin's activities, which left a good impression on Jolin. It seems like Jolin has a good opportunity to start a relationship with someone younger.

Lee Min-ho fever revives Secret Campus

The Lee Min-ho phenomenon continues on.

EBS, which stands for Educational Broadcasting System, is a public station airing mostly documentary or educational programming, as well as “youth dramas” like this one. A rep explained that following the massive successes of both Speed Scandal and Boys Before Flowers, the website for Secret Campus has been attracting many visitors and requests for rebroadcasts.

First it was a slew of old pictures, old girlfriends, family anecdotes, etc. Now one of his old projects is drawing particular notice: Secret Campus [비밀의 교정], which he acted in back when he was 19. Because of all the heightened attention being given to Lee’s prior work, EBS, the station that originally aired the 2006 youth drama, has announced that they will be rebroadcasting the series.

Part of the intense curiosity about Lee Min-ho’s background and personal life is because he was so unknown before Boys Before Flowers, even despite several film and drama roles.

Not only is Secret Campus Lee Min-ho’s debut role, it was also the debut for a fellow rising star — who happens to be this year’s It Girl — Park Bo-young. Park (19) has been on the rise with her film and TV work, but really hit it big with one of the biggest movies in recent history, the comedy Speed Scandal (과속 스캔들, aka Scandalmakers) also starring Cha Tae-hyun.

The encore run will be shown on EBS on Saturday evenings beginning February 28, with one episode per week. The drama has 24 episodes in all.

Secret Campus is a school-centered drama depicting the lives and conflicts surrounding six very different main characters, who are all high school students.

Lee isn’t the main star of the cast; Park is, and there are a few other roles more prominent than his. In the story, he plays a soccer team member (perhaps art imitating real life?), although his soccer dreams meet with some trials and tribulations. While he is a good fighter and “he seems like he doesn’t have much interest in those around him, he’s the kind of person who takes care of his friends silently.”

Park’s character (Ah-rang) isn’t the brightest student, but her cute, talkative personality makes her well-liked. One day, she’s walking home from after-school lessons and runs into a gang of roughnecks; Lee’s character (Doo-hyun) comes along and saves her, after which Ah-rang starts to like Doo-hyun. Lee Min-ho and Park Bo-young also worked together in last year’s comedy film Our School E.T., and are still friends.

Super Junior will show Suju’s dancesteps of their new song on February 27 (Friday).

It seems SuKiRa will have the exclusive rights for SuJu to show their new dance for their new song. The performance of the dancesteps will be available on SuKiRa’s homepage on February 27. Well, not really the first performance of the SONG, but the first to show SuJu’s dancesteps for their new song from the sounds of this article.

“Positive” Kara, “but we want to reach number 1”

The once cute Kara is standing in front of the fans with different image these days.

The 5 member girl group, Kara, has been promoting their 2nd song, ‘Honey’, since this mid February. Kara came back to promote ‘Honey’ with a different image than they had for ‘Pretty Girl’.

During the ‘Pretty Girl’ days, they had a cute and lively image, but, for ‘Honey, they have adopted a more pure and womanly image.

The fans were positive about this change

Kara’s leader, Park Gyuri, said “In the past, there were a lot of groups who won fans’ hearts by wearing white dress and having a pure image, but these days, I think, all the groups are trying to find their charms to win over the fans’ hearts. I think that is why the fans thought our pure image concept was something new and different.”

Han Seung Yeon added while laughing, “’Honey’ is climbing up the music charts even faster than ‘Pretty Girl’. Hara said, “I saw a music chart few days ago, and I saw that ‘Honey’ was popular among not only the 20s, but also the 30s. It is very different from ‘Pretty Girl’ which got a lot of attention from the people in their 10s.”

Kara is still thankful of all the fans who have supported them and brought them to where they are through their unique rubber glove cheering during ‘Pretty Girl’ promotion days. The reason they came back with ‘Honey’ and a repackaged album was to pay back all the support that fans gave them. In the repackaged album, there are not only remix versions of ‘Honey’ and ‘Pretty Girl’, but also a 32 pages long picture book. The version of ‘Honey’ that Kara is performing right now is the remixed version that is included in the repackaged album.

While they were receiving a lot of love during their ‘Pretty Girl’ and ‘Honey’ days, Kara also celebrated Goo Hara graduating from high school and Kang Jiyoung graduating from middle school.

The past three months were full of celebration and success for Kara. But, if there is a success, there also must be some failures, and Kara went through some humiliating incidents.

On few of the variety tv shows that Han Seung Yeon went on, the shows misspelled her name to “Han Seng Hyeon” or “Han Seung Yeong.” The netiziens have compiled all these incidents and posted on the net, titling them as, “Han Seung Yeong’s subtitle humiliation.”

One might have thought that Han Seung Yeon would be sad and distressed by these incidents, but she thinks of these incidents as a plus to her career.

Han Seung Yeon said,” I think the fans captured these moments and posted on the internet in order to correct and spread the correct name to other people. I don't believe that they posted these to just harm my reputation.”

With this kind of positive attitude, what is the goal that Kara is trying to achieve? As for their goals, they were not hesitant at being greedy.

Nicole and maknae Jiyoung said, “We were candidates for number one spot many times for 'Pretty Girl', but we never reached won. With ‘honey’, we really want to achieve that number one spot.”

It is curious as to what Kara will bring next.

Elf Girl Han Jang Hee To Debut in March

The countdown is on for the 2006 World Cup Girl and Elf Girl (because she looks like an anime character), Han Jang Hee who will be debuting as a singer this coming March. Her claim to fame came during the 2006 World Cup in Germany where a random photo of her got uploaded and the rest was history. There were numerous plans for her to debut as a singer but it was repeatedly shelved because she didn't want to be a celebrity in the aftermath.

Even though she changed her mind and decided she wanted to become a singer late last year, scheduling conflicts prevented from releasing her album in January. But it was announced recently that the recording and editing of her album has been completed and she will be debuting in March. The only thing left to do now is shooting the pictures for the album jacket, picture album and the music video. Her debut mini-album will contain 3 songs of which the title song is a strong infectious dance number and will attempt to bring out Han Jang Hee's sexy charisma. Han Jang Hee has been putting in 12 hours of training daily on her dance cheoreography and vocal training because of her obsession for perfection.

Clips of her in the studio rehearsing her dance, music video and album promo videos will be released on the internet before her mini-album release.

BoA Ready for U.S. Debut With “I Did It For Love”

SNSD, "The time where we were jealous of each other, is over"

Group SNSD appeared on MBC's "Golden Fishery - Radio Star" and revealed their special friendship.

On the broadcast of "Radio Star" on the 25th, a "talking"-battle with the MCs was shown with Jessica, Tiffany, Sunny and Sooyoung from SNSD. To the question, if they weren't jealous of more popular members, SNSD's Sooyoung answered "In the past I was. I got jealous when they got more attention or more lessons than me. But, Gillian learning acting from Jim wasn’t planned by herself, but her manager Mani paved her path, and it can be seen that EEG supported Gillian.

Gillian, with the chances of coming back, had on a light makeup and was at a hotel yesterday, it was known that this trip was to visit Jim and to discuss about collaborating in the future. After a secret discussion for a few hours, Gillian went to EEG for a midnight meeting, although Gillian was chased by the reporters recently, but she wasn’t afraid, after getting down the car near EEG, she went to the herbal tea shop to buy some drinks for her assistant, and was very caring! In the meantime, reporters went up and take photos, although she didn’t answer any questions, but she smiled nicely, and this proved that she’s already back on track for a normal lifestyle!
