You know Lee Jae Won (28), the quiet, lanky, and pretty much useless member from that super popular late 90's boy band H.O.T. Well, he has been accused of rape.

The victim is pressing hard to have Lee Jae Won convicted and punished. Details of the case are still being reviewed and a judgment is to be made on the 19th (later today).

Da S surprised at Vivian & Joe's marriage news; 'can't say dead' about her & ZaiZai

Yesterday, Da S arrived at an arts centre in Beijing. Recently, she has been signed to be the ambassador of COTTON USA, and hence, she specially wrote a poem in support of nature and environmental protection. At the event, the media told Da S about the news of Vivian Chow and Joe Nieh getting married, and when she heard this, she was extremely surprised, but offered her congratulations. At the same time, when she answered a question about her relationship with ex-boyfriend ZaiZai, she said, “Can’t say dead,’ showing that there may still be the possibility of a reconciliation.

The theme of the event was associated to ‘Natural Story’. From the universe – natural world is the beginning. Then comes Earth, soil, sky, rain, wind, sun, water, trees and the beautiful land which we live on. Being the endorser of the cotton brand, Da S wore a pure cotton angel dress, and looked naturally beautiful.

Da S says that in her own life, she loves cotton products: “Natural, comfortable and healthy is a life I pursue.” And as the ambassador for COTTON USA, Da S is rather professional. She, who loves shoes, not only personally designed a pair of pure ‘cotton’ shoes as a souvenir, she also personally wrote a poem to support nature, and environmental protection:

Some people say, Earth is blue, like the colour we see from the depths of the universe
Some people say, Earth is transparent, as if we can see each other in the air
I say, Earth should be colourful
Blue, like the magnificant blue sky
Green, like the grass infront of our house
Deep, like the ocean with no end in sight

Along with this poem, Da S also took a number of pure and fresh photos. In the photos, so to portray the universe, Earth and sky etc, she went to many places to find the scenary. At the event, Da S shared her extraordinary photoshoot experience with everyone: “Many of the photos look really beautiful, but filming was actually quite dangerous! Like there is one photo of me sleeping on a rock, we shot this photo on Monkey Island. At the time, there were many monkeys playing on my head, and this scared the workers and they rushed to shoo them away. And as for me, I just lay there, too scared to open my eyes, persevering to finish the photoshoot.”

SS501’s Kim HyungJoon revealed the contents of the text messages that he frequently exchanges with his mother.

Recently in KBS 2TV ‘Star Golden Bell’, Kim HyungJoon said “My real brother KiBum from ‘U-KISS’ and I taught our mother how to send text messages. Mother who immediately got accustomed to sending text messages began to send increasing more frequently.”

Kim HyungJoon said “There was once where my mic dropped off in a live broadcast performance, and after I got off the stage, I saw the text message sent by my mother using internet language ‘whassup with our son?’ on my phone.” Arousing a roar of laughter. ShinHwa Lee Min Woo Admits Dating With Amy, Officially

In response to the dating rumours with Amy that have been spreading like wildfire since last month, Shinhwa member Lee Min Woo made an official announcement yesterday, admitting his relationship with Amy.

Lee Min Woo held his “M RIZING” concert in Tokyo yesterday (18th) and at the press conference after the concert, he admits to be dating with Amy. He said: “The stage is the place where I can sing for my fans, while Amy to me is someone who can give me my personal space. I hope everyone can be more understanding.”

Lee Min Woo continued: “After news of us dating was revealed, many fans have expressed their support for me. I would like to thank them and I believe this support is a form of reward for my hardwork.”

Amy, borned in 1982, first met Lee Min Woo in KBS2TV’s “Happy Sunday” and soon developed into lovers status after interactions in the program.

Yesterday, CCTV’s ‘The Same Song’ was held in Korea’s KINTEX. Korean singer Chae Yeon and Chinese artist David Wu were the hosts of the event. Chinese artists Jerry Yan, Zhao Wei, Chen Kun, Kenji Wu, Cyndi Wang and Korean singers Rain, SS501, Shin Hye Sung, Son Ho Young, Wonder Girls and 2PM all attended the performance. The audience was mainly comprised of Chinese international students that are currently studying in Korea. Also, the sponsors ‘Lotte’ took out 1,000,000RMB as scholarship money to aid those students in their studies.

Bosco's a gem

HONG Kong actor and newly minted singer Bosco Wong does not need to fret even if he does not win any best newcomer trophy at music award shows next year.

Given his boyish charm, down-to-earth appeal and honesty - well, except when the focus is on rumoured girlfriend Myolie Wu - he will make an impression.

And he has a way of endearing himself to the press, which always helps.

In an interview with The New Paper when he was in town recently to promote his new drama serial, The Gem Of Life, Bosco shows how he does just that.

There were no 'out-of-bounds' questions - we could even ask about actress Myolie.

'We're good friends, very, very good friends,' he said, with a twinkle in his eyes.

'And yes, we usually confide in each other.'

Despite the couple's constant denials, Bosco and Myolie have been romantically linked to each other since they first appeared together in the drama Wars of In-Laws three years ago.

They were even voted the Most Popular On-Screen Couple at TVB's Anniversary Awards in 2006.

They reprised their 'relationship' in a sequel this year.

Bosco said: 'Ah yes... but what about the other actresses that I've worked with since then?'

Such as Linda Chung, who acted as his love interest in The Gem Of Life and Moonlight Resonance.

He laughed, then added: 'I spent a whole year (2007) with her because filming (for both shows) took place concurrently.

'When we wrapped up, I told Linda, 'I hate you very much. I don't want to see you again'.'

But it was the roles she played that turned him off - which gave a hint of the kind of women he would not be attracted to.

Bosco said: 'In The Gem Of Life, she's like Paris Hilton, the rich, spoilt brat. Too wilful for my liking.

'It's fine to have her as a friend, but girlfriend? No, never.'

He added: 'And in Moonlight Resonance, her character loves to cry. Too much.

'I'm so afraid of girls who cry, so I also don't want a girlfriend like that. Oh, and even if it's (just being) friends, I must also consider.'

Bosco, who turned 28 last Saturday, admitted that he has been quite fortunate in his rising career.

He said: 'I've been given the opportunity to be involved in many good productions.'

And to think that he had once thought of quitting the scene.

Talent-spotted in the streets for a lemon tea TV commercial in 1997 - which also featured Cecilia Cheung - Bosco joined Hng Kong Tv station TVB two years later after he finished school.

When he was tasked to host late-night music programmes, his sense of self-worth started to slip.

He said: 'I began to lose hope in myself.'

Then he had a chat with a good friend, who told him to persevere and not put a timeline to when he could achieve success.

Bosco listened. And now, he is glad he stayed on.

Turned to singing

Not only has he been given good roles, he can now add another feather to his cap - as a singer.

He released his debut album - In Love With Bosco - in Hong Kong on 5 Dec. And in just under five days, the album sold more than 10,000 copies.

A second issue of the album was quickly put out on the shelves. While Bosco has previously recorded theme songs for his drama serials, he confessed he had a hard time recording his own album of songs.

He explained: 'Most of our theme songs are related directly to the dramas, so this means the listeners can relate to the songs more easily. The message in the song is already quite clear.'

But it was different for the album.

'I have to convey what the songs mean through my voice,' he said. 'It's a recording of my emotions, but it can be just 'sounds' to the listeners.'

Coincidentally, Myolie has also released her debut album, Evolve, about two weeks earlier.

Bosco said: 'We really didn't plan it such. In any case, we're from different record companies.'

Asked to rate Myolie's singing, he gave it 8.5 on a scale of one to 10.

'Myself? About 3 or 4 marks?' he said, unsure.

So does this mean he will not be competing with her in the various music awards that will take place in Hong Kong next year?

Bosco said: 'If there's a male and female category, then no issues.

'And if there isn't, then I will readily step aside for Myolie.'

Before we could ask him, he quickly added: 'And that's because we're very, very good friends.'

So Hee and Yoo Bin Gets Teary on Intimate Note

Yoo Bin was revealed to be someone who would act really differently when guys are around. The Wonder Girls were on an episode of SBS Intimate Note recently to smooth out the awkwardness between So Hee and Yoo Bin.

In one of the games during the program, the Wonder Girls were asked by the host who would behave really different in the presence and absence of guys. When the moment of truth came, everyone pointed to Yoo Bin in the end.

So Hee explained, “Unnie (Yoo Bin) really goes through a change when guys are present compared to when they are not. Unnie usually has a deep voice. But in the presence of guys, she would speak in a high-pitched tone. It’s really chilly (an eye-opener) when you hear it.” So Hee even went one step further as she imitated how Yoo Bin does it, as everyone broke out in laughter.

The Wonder Girls also gave honest answers to other questions asked in the game like ‘the longest time you stayed angry?’, ‘the one who can make themselves look prettiest on stage?’, ‘which member (Wonder Girls) would you date if she was a guy instead?’, etc which got a lot of attention.

The Wonder Girls also did the Nobody dance cutely while dressed in fishermen outfits instead of their usual stage performing clothes. The teary moment came when video messages from Sun Mi, Sun Ye and Ye Eun were shown to So Hee and Yoo Bin at the end of the tiring but meaningful day of recording.

Sun Mi told So Hee in her message, “Don’t get hurt (or be sad). Do you know how much I am agonized whenever you are?”, while Sun Ye said, “Ye Eun and I have been going to morning prayers times at church to pray for us (Wonder Girls) during these busy schedules.” (All are Christians except for So Hee)

Intimate Note will be shown at 10.55pm (KST) on 18th December.
