Nippon TV announcers perform debut single in Santa outfits

Nippon TV announcers Nana Suzue, 28, Hélène Hayama, 26, and Miku Natsume, 24, performed their debut single “Together at Christmas” in the Nitere Plaza in Shiodome on Sunday, dressed in Santa costumes.

The girls formed a group called go!go!girls to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the founding of Nippon Television Network Corporation. The song is a cover of the theme song used in the Nippon TV production “Happy X’mas Show 06,” and was written and sung by Mariya Takeuchi, who attended the recording of the cover.

Hayama told reporters all three girls will be working over Christmas, and said: “We won’t have to spend Christmas alone.”

Bosco was not embarrassed to have picture taken with ex girl friend

Bosco met his present and previous rumored girl friiends at the The Metro Madden Awards Ceremony press conference yesterday. He let the reporter take a picture of him and Carisa Yan from "Freeze". Afterwards, he quickly said "That is enough, no more." He insisted he was not embarrassed. Reporter found him talking with Myolie at the back stage. When they had group picture taken, Myolie and Bosco were standing on either side far away from each other. Even the MC thought they did that on purpose. Bosco told reporter he just released his special edtiion album and he would give one to his mother, Gaile and Liza Wang, but not Myolie. Bosco boasted if the records sell well, he would let everybody see his 39 inches chest.

Fairly new group, Acoustic D whose music video production undertaken by BoA’s brother, director Kwon Sook Wook is gaining popularity.

After Acoustic D’s first album, ‘When Love Becomes Dim,’ the title track from their new album ‘Mr. Love’ is catching the attention of listeners.

Acoustic D consists of members ‘Seok Bin’ and graphic ‘Designer Kineco’ who author the songs, with the meaning behind the duet group name being ‘hearing design.’ Joining forces with main vocals ‘Da Eun’ and rapper ‘jake’ the new album was prepared with the concept of ‘Acoustic Dream.’

This time, the new second digital single ‘Acoustic Dream’ is based on an electronic sound and incorporates House, R&B and other various styles.

Among the featured 3 tracks in their first album was ‘When Love Becomes Dim’ whose music video was directed and produced by singer BoA’s famous brother, Director Kwon Sook Wook

Super Junior M got stamped

Super Junior unique group Super Junior M has become the faces on stamps in China. This is for the charity funds for the victims of 22nd May earthquake in China.

Through SM Entertainment, it has been known that Super Junior M has been appointed as one of the models for the set of stamp collection ‘Calling all love of China(爱遍中国爱心召唤)’ together with other top China stars.

The funds collected from the sales of the stamps will go to rebuilding schools and helping the victims of the earthquake.

Fin.K.L, one of the most popular girl groups at its peak will be reuniting for the first time on stage in 3 years at Lee Hyori’s solo concert on 20th December.

Lee Hyori posted on her fan cafe today revealing that Ock Ju Hyun, Sung Yuri and Lee Jin would be at her solo concert. Hyori expressed, “Even though it tends to get busy towards the end of year, I still asked them to appear at my concert even though I was feeling quite apologetic about it. But I never expected them to agree so quickly so I am very grateful to them.”

Since releasing their last single Forever Fin.K.L in October 2005, they have been going about their solo careers. But Fin.K.L’s popularity has never showed any signs of waning even now and have been voted by many who would love to see them reunite once again as a group. There had been an uproar over Han Ye Seul sudden departure in the midst of the 7th Korean Film Awards last Thursday (4th December) for which she gave an official apology today. During the 7th Korean Film Awards, Han Ye Seul left the awards ceremony after the first half, leading to widespread speculation that the reason was because she didn’t win the Best New Actress award.

Han Ye Seul posted on her Cyworld minihompy today with the heading, words that I would like to say to my fans. “Sorry for disappointing everyone at the last movie festival of 2008, Korean Film Awards. I am also hurting because I made a really big mistake. After wrapping up filming for Tazza, my schedule has been really jam packed with activities. Frankly, I am very tired. When I thought of the fact that I had an interview to do after the awards ceremony, I decided to make a move first. Thinking back, maybe I shouldn’t have done that.”

Se7en gets with Lil Kim

Se7en is going to make a music video for "Them Girls" and it's going to feature Lil' Kim. Here's the scoop from rap-up.com:


Lil’ Kim is making a return to music videos, albeit not her own.

The Queen Bee will go behind the lens for “Girls” (listen below), the debut U.S. single from Korean pop star Se7en. Kim is featured on the Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins-produced track. The video will be directed by Rage in Los Angeles on Monday. Darkchild is also set to make a cameo.

Lil’ Kim is currently in the studio working on her fifth album scheduled for release next year.
