After releasing their 'Don't Don' album, the members were split into different groups and continued their activities. Soon, the members will come together and perform under the name of Super Junior.

Super Junior's management company SM Entertainment announced that 'Super Juunior The 1st ASIA TOUR - SUPER SHOW ENCORE' concert will be held on 2 successive days, the 3rd nd 4th of January next year, at Seoul's Olympic Park Fencing Stadium.

It will be the last performance since the Asia Concert Tour was held in February this year.

On the 22th of November, Super Junior will be up on the Shanghai stage in China, where they will be getting ready for their 'Super Junior The 1st ASIA TOUR-SUPER SHOW in Shanghai'.

Andy arrived at Taiwan

It had been 1 year since Andy Lau made a public appearance in Taiwan, 6 years since his last concert in Taiwan. He touched down in Taiwan last night for his concert on 21 and 22 November 2008 at the Taipei Arena. The tickets are almost sold out, it can be considered as the concert with the best box office in the second half of 2008. Alleged couple Ella of S.H.E and Chun of Fahrenheit had indicated that they would be attending the concert. For the first night, the artistes that would go watch Andy includes Barbie Hsu, Cai Kang Yong, Show Luo, Lollipop and Chun of Fahrenheit.

Hundreds fans were at the airport to welcome him. Andy was dressed in black sportswear with sunglasses, he appeared relaxed. When they see their idol, they could not hold their excitement as they all rushed forward and chased after him, one even lose his/her shoes. Cameras' flash kept flashing and the fans even gave him presents and flowers.

DAIGO gets regular TV role

Rising musician DAIGO has been given his first regular part in a television drama series. He will appear in TBS's "Love Shuffle," which was announced last week.

DAIGO plays a young businessman who has amassed a fortune through trading stocks. His character exhibits stalker-like behavior due to his lingering feelings for his ex-girlfriend, played by Karina.

DAIGO's only other television role was in a single episode of the 2003 series "Stand Up!!" where he played a musician.

On 12 December, it will be the 15th anniversary of Hong Kong Performing Artistes Guild, Performing Artistes Glory 15 Years - a retro theme party was held at InterContinental Hotel two nights ago, there were a total of 42 tables. Most of the artistes attended dressed up in 60s and 70s. Among all artistes, the "broom head" of the Wynners were the most eye catching.

The Guild president Alan Tam expressed that he hope that the dinner would be able to raise $2000,000. The Guild will be collaborating with the government to visit primary and secondary schools around Hong Kong, they will be give them some educational talks, show them the videos of the Sichuan earthquake victims, allowing the students to gain more knowledge, in order for them to cherish their studies and living environment.

Andy Lau whom wore the same outfit as dubbing artist Chow Yat Too, he quipped that for this party he specially dig out this hunter outfit from the warehouse, he wore it once when shooting A Dance of a Dream

THEY are one of the hottest boybands from Taiwan, but if the members of pop group Fahrenheit never got together, things might have turned out quite differently.

The New Paper had posed this 'what if' question to the group when it was in town on Monday to promote its Fantasy World Tour. Fahrenheit will perform here next month. Wu Chun would be a budding entrepreneur, Aaron Yan would be in the US studying American history, and Calvin Chen would be crunching numbers in a financial institution in Canada.

Jiro Wang was not here, as he was resting in Taiwan with a leg injury.

While we wonder if these pretty boys can live up to such lofty ambitions, they did the entire interview in English just to prove their point.

Wu Chun, 29

When it comes to making money, this Brunei-born singer started early. He opened a pool cafe with his friend when he was just 15. And if that was not enough, he followed that up by selling car parts.

Wouldn't a teenager be less preoccupied with work at that age? 'I was probably influenced by friends who were all into running businesses,' Wu Chun said.

By the time he joined Fahrenheit in 2005, he was already into his third business- managing his family's fitness centre in Brunei. It was not easy.

'I would manage the fitness centre with my staff members from 1pm to 8pm and go for a workout at around 10pm. After that, it's back home to work till 4am. 'At night, when I'm alone, I have time to focus on what I want to do. I'm too busy managing manpower in the day to do this.'

He even won a Young Entrepreneur Award in Brunei.

Wu Chun said: 'When my mum was sick, I did a lot of research on the Internet to see how I could help. 'I learnt the importance of research and realised how it could really help businesses. Even though she has passed away, she inspired me to win the award.'

The self-confessed workaholic credits his work ethic to his idol, basketball player Michael Jordan. 'He taught me that when you want to do something, you give it your all. Focus on it and be very serious about it.'

This Jordan fanatic also has a tattoo of his idol on his leg.

So what would he say to the NBA star if he met him? 'I'll say, let's be friends. And can we do business together?'

Calvin Chen, 28

He might not look it, but Calvin used to be quite the studious geek. When he was a teaching assistant at a graduate school in Vancouver, Canada, Calvin said he would stay back till very late with his nose in his books. He said he would sometimes be pottering around in his office 'till 3am', so much so the school security guards kept a close watch on him. 'The guards would always ask me for my ID and key. But when they got used to me, it was okay.'

Calvin, who has a masters in economics, believes his ability to crunch numbers has actually helped him with his relationships. 'The concepts in business and economics have given me heightened reasoning skills when dealing with people,' he said.

So what financial advice does he have for his fans? 'Save more. Only invest in something that you are familiar or interested in.'

Aaron Yan, 22

If Aaron was not touring the world as part of a boyband, he would be back in the country he grew up in - the US. The Taiwan-born singer spent his primary-school years in Connecticut for five years.

Aaron, who studied journalism in a university in Taiwan, is now doing a major in English, with a special interest in American history.

Asked to weigh in on the recent US presidential elections, he said: 'It was a meaningful election... because racial issues have always been a problem for them (Americans). 'By electing a black man, it shows that they have progressed.'

Aaron recalled how, when he was a child in the US, he would eat the same thing every day for breakfast - milk and bread. And he continues to do so till now. He also professed his adoration for Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie. 'She's just so sexy. She's perfect.'

First look at Peppermint

Following the end of Yoon Do-hyun’s Love Letter, KBS is all set to launch another music variety program, Lee Hana’s Peppermint, which shot its first episode on November 18.

Host Lee Hana took the opportunity to perform a few songs at the piano, including the Carpenters tune to be used as the program’s title song, “Close to You.”

A fan of Yoon Do-hyun’s program herself, Lee said, “I’m sure there are lots of people who are sad about Love Letter’s end, and I feel the same… I’d really like to have Yoon Do-hyun on this program, and I’ve already asked.”

Although her acting career has been on the upswing since her debut in 2006’s Alone In Love (followed by performances in When Spring Comes, Merry vs. Daegu Battle, and Women in the Sun), for now Lee plans to focus on her MC post.

Guests for the inaugural episode were guitarist Lee Byung-woo, veteran pop singer Lee Seung-hwan, and ballad singer Park Hyo-shin. The first episode will air November 21.

Lee Hyori’s outfit makes money

Lee Hyori wore a D&G jacket during the MKMF last week, and it seemed to have caught everyone’s eyes. Two days after she wore this outfit, it was sold out all around Korea.

With this type of actions by fans and shoppers, she might be a target for large companies.

Lee Hyori is having her first solo concert on two nights on the 20th and 21st.

MinSu watching "Soonjung Manhwa"

On November 19, members of the Dong Bang Shin Ki Junsu and Changmin watched the "Soonjung" VIP premier showing at CGV Yongsan.

This cartoon-turned-film featured stars like Chae Jung-ahn (Coffee Prince), Super Junior’s Kang-in, Lee Yeon-hee (East of Eden), and Yoo Ji-tae (Oldboy)

The relationships in the film feature the large age gaps between its older generation and the younger, pairing Chae Jung-ahn (as an older woman who’s experienced disappointment in love) with the younger Kang-in, whose character is a high school student “who chases her around doggedly.” Meanwhile, Yoo Ji-tae plays a bashful 30-year-old who meets the “tough” high school student played by Lee Yeon-hee (and is pushed around by her strong(er) personality).

Soonjung Manhwa opens on November 27. Since the start of the portal site about the film, in a day there has already been millions of pageviews, causing sensations and rating it among the best films.

Kim Shin Young Parodies Nobody with Nogari

If Kim Heechul is Wonder Girls number one fan, Kim Shin Young comes in a close second. Her live performance of Nogari, a parody of the Wonder Girls hit song Nobody at the 2008 MBC FM4U DJs concert on 12th November created a lot of attention among netizens when a fancam of it was uploaded online.

Kim Shin Young has been earning a reputation recently for parodying popular songs by modifying it’s lyrics with hiliarous lines and also the dance. Wearing a yellowish-golden one piece dress, Kim Shin Young gave a good live rendition of Nogari while holding real nogaris in her hand. If you have watched the 2008 MKMF, she also did a small portion of Nogari while presenting an award.
