'My So Called Love' premiered on the night of 18 November in Taiwan. The main actors - Da S, Eddie Peng, Joseph Chang and Dong Ming Xiang all attended. The event was hosted by Xiao S (Dee Hsu) and Kevin Tsai. Xiao S relentlessly revealed some of Da S's secrets, saying that Da S is very impulsive when it comes to love, and it is very easy for her to fall for the male lead. All these led to Da S resisting the urge to snatch the microphone away from her. Xiao S asked each actor how they would introduce the movie. Da S's answer was that the movie is 'one that is full of meat'.

The way Xiao S and Kevin Tsai hosted 'My So Called Love' premiere was exactly like how they hosted Kang Xi Lai Le. In this event, Xiao S boldly declared that Da S doesn't need to practice her love at all, she is very impulsive and one that will be deeply immersed into a relationship. She even wanted Da S to pose for a shoot with Eddie Peng, Joseph Chang, and Dong Ming Xiang by kissing them deeply - which almost led to Da S snatching the microphone away from her and saying "I so regret asking you to host this, this is my premiere!'

Da S revealed that this movie let her learn the true meaning of love. Although she is still in the process of learning, now she has the courage to move forward to her unknown future. Xiao S asked her whether she fell in love with Joseph Chang during the filming process. Da S answered with one sentence: "At that time, I was still healing, OK?"

During the filming of 'My So Called Love', a scene of the movie got stolen, and it was the scene where Da S was ruthlessly beating Eddie Peng, and also where her step father peaked at her while bathing. At the premiere, Da S told the director that if the movie could earn 1 billion taiwanese dollars, would he return the tape? Because Da S has always believed that it was the director who stole the tape.

Manager of news Shi Ya Ping also went to support the movie. She said that her film critics friends told her that 'My So Called Love' is a very good movie, and will do very well. She hopes that everyone would support Taiwan's movies together, and that the box office would break TW$500,0000,00, and get an extra 20% in congratulatory prizes.

Her First Attempt to Respond to the people who are attacking her ability to act

After 4 years, the beautiful Song Hye Kyo has finally returned to the TV screen. On the KBS2 drama "Worlds Within", she acts a confident woman director called Joo Joon Young. "Worlds Within" is a drama about the world of the "entertainment people" in Korea. In the drama, Song Hye Kyo's character Joo Joon Young often uses the phrase "How annoying!"; no matter if she is thinking of someone or reacting over a good movie script, she always says, "How annoying!". However, when things are satisfactorily resolved, Joo Joon Young will secretly laugh to herself. This kind of role is very different from the roles that Song Hye Kyo usually acts. Perhaps it is because there is too big of a difference between this role and Song Hye Kyo's roles in the past, so the public cannot accept the fact that she is taking this role. Because of this, Song Hye Kyo's ability to act was brought to attention.

Not long ago, the media went to "World Within"'s shooting scene and conducted an interview with SHK. Song Hye Kyo is a very straightforward person, which is quite similar to some attributes of Joo Joon Young. During the interview, Hye Kyo answered each of the media's questions patiently and sincerely, and cleared up doubts about her acting skills.

Q: You haven't filmed a drama in so long; what are your feelings and thoughts about filming "World Within"?

SHK: This drama has a very beautiful storyline, so I always told myself, "You must do well, you must do well." Soon, I started feeling pressure. Now, thought, I've adjusted nicely, and my acting is getting better.

Q: The wonderful storyline and script of the drama became the source of your pressure?

SHK: Even though my acting experience is not short, and I acted in many dramas, I never came across a drama with such a wonderful storyline like "World Within". When I was figuring out and looking over the script lines, I constantly said [to myself], "Yeah, if it were me, I would say that too!" More specifically, each script line brought out a sympathetic response from me. The storyline is too good! I am always afraid that I will not be able to interpret it very well. Maybe because of that, I think the filming of this drama is very tough, and I don't think I dealt with the dialogue very well...

Q: Are you saying that the role of Joo Joon Young is very difficult to act?

SHK: When I first saw the lines, I thought the lines were very realistic and normal, but when I was actually filming, saying the lines naturally was not that easy. I'm used to acting devastated when I say devastated lines, and acting sorry when I say regretful lines. But one day, the writer suddenly came over to me and said, "When you face loved ones, is it really supposed to be that easy to say 'I'm sorry' or 'I love you'?". It's truly not easy. Even though you are saying "I'm sorry" on the surface, you have to actually feel sorry from the bottom of your heart. This is what I have to practice acting. Truthfully, I needed some time to adjust to it. When I was filming the third episode, I felt nervous during the filming. However, in the fourth episode, I was much more relaxed.

Q: What do you feel about the ratings for "World Within"?

SHK: *laughs* Can I tell the truth? There's a lot of people saying right now, "Song Hye Kyo is over.", "Song Hye Kyo is definitely going to fail."...if this was said before, I might have been extremely depressed, to the point where I would not want to film it anymore. But this time, I don't have any feelings of failure. Last week, "World Within"'s rating rose 1%. I told that Hyun Bin that if the ratings rose to 10%, we should organize a party to celebrate. Really, though, during the filming of this show, I received a lot of things. That is very precious to me. If you act in one drama that has ratings that surpassed 50%, it's nearly impossible to act in another drama with the same luck.

Q: You received a lot of things?

SHK: During this drama, I met Pyo Min Su for the first time. She said that every time you recite a line, it gives people a different feeling. In the drama, I act a director, and personally got to see Pyo Min Su act through the camera. It was a really great sight! She is really an actress worth respecting. Lee Da In, Kim Gab Soo...they are all old co-actors that are worth respecting. To be able to act and learn with them is probably a one in a lifetime chance. When Pyo Min Su consoled me by saying, "Don't worry, I was also not used to the script.", the only thing left in my heart was a goal; to work hard and learn from them.

Q: What is "World Within"'s greatest charm?

SHK: It's very natural, and not fake. It perfectly described the personality of a Korean entertainment business woman, and properly illustrates our daily lives in the public circle.

Q: What kinds of inspiration do you want to give people through Joo Joon Young?

SHK: You have to be persistent in what you are searching for. Even if you are over the front of thorns, you must not back down. You have to use your ideas and courage to go forward, and don't think about the result. As long as you try, it doesn't matter.

Q: Most people think that your unclear articulation is the greatest failure of this series. How do you look at this problem?

SHK: When you are reciting lines when you are extremely happy...isn't it hard to avoid being unclear? The public's comments and points are what I should take to heart seriously, but those people who purposefully attack me this way; I can't take it. I will definitely show the world an improved Song Hye Kyo.

To prepare for his new album, Show Luo has been practising dancing very hard. Because the difficulty degree is very high, he keeps spraining his ankle, and every night, he has to soak his feet in Chinese herbal medicine. On the evening of the 22nd, Show also has to attend the Taiwan Beer Stars Concert. Battling against Andy Lau, his pressure is quite big. Although on the night, other artists like A-Mei Zhang, Jam Hsiao and Fan Yi Chen will also attend, Show still does not dare to take this lightly.

Show’s new album will be released in December, and he specially invited a foreign teacher to choreograph for him. Because the dance steps are quite complicated, it requires a lot of ankle strength, and he has practised till his feet are almost crippled. In order to alleviate the pain, his manager Xiao Shuang would help him to soak his feet into Chinese herbal medicine everyday.

The Taiwan Beer Stars Concert will be held soon, and on the same day, it will also be Andy Lau’s concert. Feet injury plus pressure, will it affect his mood? Manager Jiang Jin said, “Our concert is more like a party, different type of concerts, nothing really to compare.” The Taiwan Beer organisers also expressed that Show is their most popular spokesperson, and tickets have already been sold out, hence does not need to worry at all.

"MY SHORT STORIES" also marks YUI's third consecutive number-one album.

Three other female singers entered the top ten: Beyonce (#3), Christina Aguilera (#5), and Enya (#6). Dir en grey managed to make #4 with their new album, while The Birthday edged into the #10 spot.

On the singles chart, Dreams Come True took #1 with 46,000 copies of their latest, "Tsuretette Tsuretette." While the group now has 11 number-one singles, this is their first since becoming a duo in 2002. Their last chart-topper came 9 years and 10 months ago, which sets a record for the longest gap between number-ones by a group.

Right behind Dreams Come True were The GazetteE and the reunited girl band SPEED. The rest of the top ten included ORANGE RANGE, Mika Nakashima, Mai Satoda, Buono!, and The Gospellers.

Recently, “Pi Li MIT” are selling their props, Aaron Yan’s cellphone in the drama auctioned for over 20,000TWD, however he forgot to delete all the phone numbers and photos, and one of the photos was an intimate one of GuiGui embracing him from behind. After the broadcasting station was informed, they immediately deleted it.

GuiGui does not avoid to say that she and Aaron have a good relationship. The 2 would often use their cellphones to take pictures of themselves, and even her computer table is full of photos with Aaron. However, GuiGui expressed, “In the drama, of course I have feelings towards him, however after filming, the feelings are withdrawn la! He likes girls like Rainie Yang, only thinks of me as a child.” Tomorrow is Aaron’s birthday and GuiGui said she wants to buy a suit to give him, but she’s afraid that she might get the size wrong, so she will give him a cake instead.

Xiao Gui is also rumoured to be with GuiGui for over half a year now. According to sources, during “Pi Li MIT” promotions, if one of “Double Gui” were not present, then they would phone each other, and their way of talking sounded like they were boyfriend and girlfriend. Earlier, “Pi Li MIT” were promoting in Taipei, and as soon as GuiGui saw Xiao Gui, she immediately ran up to him and hugged him.

Yesterday, Xiao Gui’s manager Zheng Feng expressed, “This is to stir-up news to promote the drama right? They’ve already been rumoured before, has already been clarified la.” He explained that their so-called warm feelings is because once during filming, they finished too late, and Xiao Gui was worried about GuiGui’s safety, so he drove her home. Zheng Feng emphasized that it is impossible for Xiao Gui and GuiGui to be together: “Xiao Gui once said, GuiGui is not his dish la.”

Besides preparing for their wedding, Christopher Lee and Fann Wong are also busy looking for an apartment in Beijing where they frequently film on location.

The celebrity couple was into their fifth day of filming for "The Big Wedding" at a Kovan Residences show flat.

Lianhe Wanbao reports that Christopher Lee had sold his condominium in Newton not long ago.

When asked if he had moved in with Fann, who has an apartment opposite Four Seasons Hotel in Orchard, he laughed and denied it.

But the couple revealed that they will be buying an apartment in Beijing.

"The condominiums in Beijing are well-built, and there are many developments by Singapore firms. I think there are quite a few which are not bad," Lee told Wanbao reporters.

"We want to get a place there so that it will be more convenient when we need to film there."

They also said that they did not have time to dabble in stocks, and were relatively unaffected by the financial crisis. They may be taking advantage of the downturn to buy more property. However, Fann still insists that the property has to be a place they like.

"We will check out appropriate places if we come across any, but even if we buy the house as an investment, it should still be some place we'd like to stay in."

Around the world in three months

Christopher Lee wants to travel the world with Fann for one to three months after their wedding. His dream destinations include Russia, South America and Ibiza.

He told Lianhe Wanbao that South America left a deep impression on him when he went there to film "The Peak"

He said: "The location is very beautiful, and the night life was spectacular!"

Chris, who grew up in a large family, also has plans for them to stay with his parents after their marriage.

"I didn't spend a lot of time at home in the past, and I miss the warmth of family life. Now, every time I go home, I will organise a gathering for the whole family. I think it will be very heartwarming to stay together as a family."

So is Chris not worried that Fann and her mother-in-law may have differences in opinion, and don't they want to have time alone?

"Hey, we can have time alone in our own room," said Chris "Fann also prefers a lively environment. As for getting along with my mother, it is up to the individual to make allowances, and try to get along with each other. We just have to make the effort to get along."

The 37-year-old is also keen to have children.

"I've reached the age where it's natural to want children. I think I will be a fun dad, the kind who behaves like a kid," he laughed.
