SoNyuhShiDae’s Yuri experienced an unforgettable first date.

In ‘Love Generation,’ which will be broadcasted on the 6th, Yuri participated in the corner ‘MooJun Dating’ where she followed a date course with singers Lee SungJin, Lee JiHoon, and actress Hong SooHyun.

‘MooJun Dating’ is a corner for couples who are having a hard time dating because of the rising prices.

Yuri finished her date shooting that day after playing games such as eating jjajangmyun (black bean noodles) together, just like a normal couple would.

Yuri had to spend the day with only a tenth of the average amount of money that Korean couples in their 20s to 30s use during their dates, but still seemed to have a great time, eating a plate of jjajangmyun for only $1.80 and finding ways to get into an amusement park for free.

‘Love Generation,’ which was broadcasted once last Choosuk (Korean thanksgiving), will be broadcasted on the 6th at 11:05 PM.

Basically, it told that after the shooting, around 7pm, the two happily left the movie studio on a taxi to a restaurant in SOHO. Hangeng was a gentleman, opened the taxi door for Huang Yi to come in first. They then went to play billiard when Hannie is said to seriously watching her playing & applaud her whenever she hit a good shot. The two also are said to chat with each other non-stop with laughing all the time.

When Hangeng has very little experience in acting, Huang Yi is a very experienced actress, so she often helps him & vice versa, Hangeng usually asks for help from Huang. Hangeng secretly said that he’s a fanboy of Huang Yi so he was very happy to know that he will be filming together with Huang.

On the other hand, Huang Yi wrote on her blog she went to Hangeng mom’s dumpling restaurant.

TVXQ’s Xiah Junsu has a different/unique reason as to why he wants to act.
In the most recently recorded SBS show program JeolChin Notes, Xiah Junsu asked actor Lee Wan about kiss scenes with great interest.

Xiah Junsu asked Lee Wan “Did you film kiss scenes?”, to which he responded, “Out of the 10 works, 8 of them included a kiss scene”. After hearing this, Xiah Junsu acted embarrassed as if this applied to him and enviously looked at Lee Wan.

Xiah Junsu then asked if Lee Wan knew that there would be kiss scenes in the dramas before he chose to work on them. Lee Wan said that if the mood is right on the set, that’s when they tell you about it/make you do it. At Lee Wan’s reply, he worried for a while and then said, “Ah, do I have to do acting?” (or “should I go into acting?”)

Although Xiah Junsu’s meeting with Lee Wan was at first, awkward, they still continued their mission(?) and all the while comfortably talked in a younger/older brother way and got closer to each other.

The global recession has reached TV stations in Korea. Advertisement revenues have fallen drastically for three major networks in Korea, compelling them to cut back on program productions and staff.

The first round of downsizing was carried out on the drama department. Once a cash cow, TV dramas have now turned into a money pit, prompting TV stations to cut down on the number of dramas from the program lineup. KBS will no longer run a daily TV series after “The Return of Ddukbaegi” wraps up this fall. SBS will suspend its Friday night drama for a while and MBC one of its weekend dramas.

TV stars will get paid less as well. During their heyday, a TV star would get about 170 thousand dollars for a program and a top show host would net about 9 thousand dollars per episode. But such exorbitant fee has weighed heavily on the network budget and three major networks have banded together to lower the TV appearance rates.

The presidents of three networks have sent company-wide letters asking employees to understand the current predicament and support company decisions.
