Gui Ya Lei and Barbie Xu's collaboration in "Eat Drink Man Woman", how is it possible?

Salon Movie Company and Hengdian Film & TV will be collaborating to make series of projects, they have agreed to make 9 movies, including "Hua Mu Lan" and Ang Lee's "Eat Drink Man Woman" sequel.

Salon Movie Company and Hengdian Film & TV will also team up with "Crounching Tiger Hidden Dragon" Xu Ligong for the sequel of "Eat Drink Man Woman". This sequel is said to be 2.9 million dollar project. The planned line-up of actors includes Gui Ya Lei and recently renowned movie star Barbie Xu.

Han Geng has officially started filming for his new drama "Stage of Youth."

Super Junior recently arrived in Japan. They will be releasing their new Marry U Japanese Single in November, so it is assumed they are in Japan for contract signing and fan meeting. 11 of the 13 members were in Japan yesterday. Ki Bum and Han Geng were absent due to their drama activities.

Si Won and Kyu Hyun were also recently seen in Thailand. Rumors has it they will be the new spokesmen for 12+ CF. This will me Si Won's third time filming a CF for 12+.

Wonder Girls and Kim Jong Kook on Come to Play

The Wonder Girls has accepted their sunbaenim, Kim Jong Kook’s calls.

The Wonder Girls will be recording MBC “Come to Play” hosted by Yoo Jae Suk and Kim Won Hee tomorrow with Kim Jong Kook and share small talks and affection as a senior and junior in the entertainment industry.

The Wonder Girls will be the assistants for Kim Jong Kook, who just finished his military duties this May and this will be his first tv show comeback. They are planning to have a series of witty talks and convos with Kim Jong Kook.

A staff member expressed, “Kim Jong Kook is planning to release his fifth album at the end of October (22nd October) and has similar (new album and song) debut dates as the Wonder Girls, causing a small battle (on who will be #1 on the music charts). Before that happens, they plan to meet the audiences with variety shows and entertain them by their eyes and ears.

Lately, Rain has also been accepting invitations to variety shows before his album release. Kim Jong Kook is adopting a similar strategy likewise.

Kim Jong Kook has made a commitment to tap the curiosity of viewers before his comeback by guesting on the popular variety show with the Wonder Girls.

Kwon Sang Woo's New Plan

The newly wed, Kwon Sang Woo offered to forgo pay in exchange for profit shares when the film is exported to other countries for the movie “My Love Next To Me” directed by Park Jin Pho.

The thinking behind Kwon Sang Woo’s offer was based on the fact that this high profile movie, which also co-stars Ha Ji Won failed to secure funding and he was hoping that by waiving his fees, the production house will have an easier time finding an investor.

The production house did not accept nor decline the offer yet and it remains to see what they will decide to do.

Zheng Yuan Chang and Lin Yi Chen have been act as husband and wife in [It Stared With A Kiss] series and [Love or Bread], they are so close that Lin Yi Chen won’t even afraid he will mind at all and when the China media asked [Who is the handsomest among the actors that you have worked with before], she turned to look at Zheng Yuan Chang, after patting his hand, she said this right in front of him, [I cannot deny that Wu Zun is quite handsome.] While Xiao Zhong of course is not bad either, even though his smile is still the same, he immediately said: [Then I also think Ella is the most beautiful, how’s that?]

[Love or Bread] is planning to film in Hangzhou, China for a week. Yesterday the event has attracted about hundred of China media to come and report about the event. Because both Zheng Yuan Chang and Lin Yi Chen have had the experience in filming in China before so they didn’t feel any unaccustomed climate to this country at all. Xiao Zhong has gone straight into a restaurant to have hairy crab once he arrived in Hangzhou; making everyone feeling whether they should cry or laugh. When he has finished eating, he didn’t praise the deliciousness of the hairy crab instead he said: [After eating it my excretion will be quite smooth and my stomach will be flat, just great.]

Compare to him, Lin Yi Chen is not that fortunate and get to eat as freely as she desires. For the past two years she has been watching over her weight rather strictly by just eating either enzyme or lettuce salad. This time because she needs to deal with filming in another country for several days, so she has brought crackers and low fat soup packages that are going to last for half a month. She and Hu Ge had have their second collaboration in [LOCH] and receiving quite a good rating in China so it has helped her gained quite a lot of popularity.

Rainie superstitiously believes in forehead hair, removes bangs to bring money

Rainie kept her trademark bangs for 5 years from Ambiguous AiMei Album's doll bangs, Ren Yi Men's jellyfish hair, BLXH's boom QQ hair to allow her career to prosper. This has caused her to be supersticious with her hairstyle, According to a fortune teller, she starts to have forehead luck from 24 years old onwards, advising her to show her forehead. Thus, she'll rather believe, she was seen going to the hair salon to change her hairstyle secretly, to let her forehead see the sunlight.

On the 9th's afternoon, the reporter saw her clipped her bangs up showing her forehead and wore a big pair of glasses to hide her looks without makeup. She enters ZOOM hair salon to change her hairstyle, she washed her hair for 1h 30mins and her fragile look make her looks like Sadako. When her hair stylist took her scissors to start cutting her bangs, she immediately becomes alert and shows her front teeth acting as marmot to plead her not to cut too much. She closes her eyes every now to rest and her waist length hair is already rather short. There's also a manicurist who is serving her nails for nail art, she is served like a queen enjoying VIP's serving.

Her fans are already used to her bangs, she courageously tried jellyfish hair last year and brought about a hair trend. But she was also described as tortoise hair, her manager Jiang Cheng ze admits that she is changing her stylist with the fortune teller's advice for her album which is going to release in November. She has to show her forehead and have to let her fans like it. Thus, it was decided that she will use extentions to extend her bangs and split it to two sides, to bring a totally new side bangs. If her fans can't accept, she will then remove the extentions and return to her original look.

After cutting, her manager immediately took a picture of her, ensuring that all three angles look good to prevent another tortoise head incident. She is also very satisfied with her new hairstyle 'the middle splitting bangs can make her face look smaller and slimmer, showing the forehead can make one look more alert when taking pictures and she feels happier after cutting her hair.

Rainie was said to be rude by fans, some fans pointed out that in the past Rainie will sign and take pictures. However, during recent BLXH promos, they couldn't take pictures nor sign. She shouts innocently "No such thing, as long as it doesn't affects my job, signing or taking pictures are all OK. But sometimes maybe it is a little rush, thus, will be stopped by company." She will only sign on things which doesn't have copyright.

Big Bang to comeback in November with remake song

Big Bang will be coming back to the Kpop scene with a remake song in Autumn.

Big Bang is set to release their minialbum in beginning of November. The title song to the minialbum will be a remake to Lee Moon Sae’s ‘붉은 노을 (Red Sunset)’.

A YG Entertainment representative said, “It is planned that Big Bang will comeback with a brand new image.”

Big Bang did the recording and the filming of the new MV this month in secrecy. They will be finishing their Japan concert performance and album promotion by 28th October.

‘붉은 노을’ is said to be a song that will present at different side of Big Bang’s music.

Thelma Aoyama teams up with Dreams Come True for new "Ainori" theme

The new theme song of Fuji TV's popular reality/variety show "Ainori" is being sung by rising star Thelma Aoyama. The show, which has just entered its 10th year on the air, will begin using the new song on Monday's episode.

Titled "Daikkirai, Demo Arigato," the tune is a collaboration with the group Dreams Come True. Aoyama, who has reportedly been a fan of them since kindergarten, requested that they create a song for her, and they agreed. This is only the second time that Dreams Come True has provided music for another artist, with the first time being KinKi Kids' "Ne, Ganbaru Yo" in 2004.

The song is being made available as a chaku-uta immediately after Monday's episode of "Ainori." A CD release date has not been decided yet.

BoA to release Live Tour DVD

BoA (22) will be releasing a DVD on her Japan live tour concert performances on 15th October.

The DVD was released in Japan last month, revealing the insights to her ‘BoA LIVE TOUR 2008 - The Face’ concert performances in May-June in Japan Nigoya, Nigata, Hiroshima, Osaka etc , and ending in Tokyo - in 14 cities with 20 concert performances.

27 songs will be included, from since BoA debuted in Japan with ‘ID; Peace B’ all the way till her 26th single with songs ‘Kissing you’ and ‘Sparkling’.
