The latest celebrity couple outed by FRIDAY magazine appears to be talento Mayumi Ono (27) and actor Ren Yagami (22). This week's issue reports that Yagami was seen leaving Ono's apartment one morning, wearing the same clothes as the day before.

Yagami, a member of the group PureBOYS, appeared in the drama series "Tokyo Ghost Trip" this past spring. Ono was also part of the show's cast, and the pair apparently built their relationship while working together.

Lead actor Oguri Shun (25), recently ended filming for Crows Zero 2 (directed by Miike Takashi, opens next year). The filming which took place in Tsuchiura City, Ibaraki Prefecture ended in a climax fight scene where Oguri faced 149 opponents. As the character Oguri plays, Takaya Genji, graduates from Suzuran High School, Oguri is also graduating from this series where he has appeared twice. "It was a dream team. I did it with the intention of giving it my all," he said, without regrets.

Wearing iron-tipped boots which weigh a little less than 1kg, he alone confronts 149 people from his rival school. It's the scene Takaya marches boldly into. Oguri charges at full speed and attacks the masses of shaved heads. The staff and other cast members could be heard saying "Scary~" and "Amazing~". Even when the scene was re-shot at different angles and distances many times over, the tension in Oguri remains unchanged. This scene started at 8 in the morning, and continued well into sunset.

This appearance will be his last one for the series. "I wanted to walk away from it with a bang," he said. Oguri trained at the boxing gym every 3 days and also did weights. The surroundings also played a part in the change in his physical appearance as they had to overcome the grueling heat of filming through August.

Yamada Takayuki, Takaoka Sousuke and Kiritani Kenta from the first movie returns in the cast. Miura Haruma (18) makes his appearance this time. Oguri commented,"Guys in the late 20s like us can't keep on doing this. It's better to hand it over to the next generation." Miura said,"I definitely want to be a part of the next generation of Crows. I want to see what Oguri-san has." He will surely succeed in the Crows spirit Oguri has created.

WE ARE more than just pretty boys. That's what popular Taiwanese boy band Fahrenheit is trying to prove with its first concert tour.

Comprising Calvin Chen, Jiro Wang, Wu Chun and Arron Yan, the band is well known for its boyish good looks and cheery pop tunes. But with its ongoing concert tour, which kickstarted in Hong Kong and will include a stop here in December, the guys hope to show fans that they can be multi-talented too.

For instance, they each learnt a new skill for the concert. Brunei-born Wu Chun, 29, tried to master drumming, while Calvin, 28, turned himself into a beat box. Jiro, 27, learnt to play both the lead and acoustic guitar, while Arron, 22, tickled the ivories. Together, they also underwent an intensive round of physical and vocal training, and learnt new dance sequences that were choreographed specially for the concert.

Never mind that three of the chaps were nursing injuries, leaving only one healthy Wu Chun, who joked that he was the 'Superman' in the group.

Still, some questioned whether it was too early for the band to do a concert tour, and whether the guys would be mere vases on stage.

When asked by the Taiwanese media, Arron said such comments would make him sulk at home first, then pour his soul into practising hard to prove the critics wrong. He joked: 'Maybe we should smash vases during the concert opening to symbolise that we're not (vases).' Wu Chun added: 'I don't care about this saying. What's important is that we're responsible for the performance and must practise seriously.'

Their hard work has paid off. Last month, Fahrenheit performed to two full-house crowds in Hong Kong. A total of 25,000 tickets were reportedly snapped up by fervent fans within days.

Stage show

On stage, the quartet wowed fans and media alike with their boundless energy and fanciful costume changes symbolising the concert's fantasy theme. Also, they drew gasps from the audience when they each began to swing a 1.2m-long sword during a dance segment. Then they challenged Jay Chou's hit song Nanchaku by giving the Bruce Lee weapon their own spin. The stunts were left to Wu 'Superman' Chun, who made a grand entry sliding down onto the stage on a wire. Just one blooper though: He got his left and right shoes mixed up in haste and had to run backstage to change them while his band mates bantered on stage.

But, it was just a small hiccup to a dream-come-true evening for the guys. Just before the closing, they said they had waited three years to stage a concert and thanked the audience for 'realising our dream together with us'.

Junsu: First, we (Junsu and Yoochun) became friends in TVXQ. Time has flown by, and it's already been six years. We've walked together until now, and have become closer than friends; we're more like family. We've walked this road as brothers until now, and I'm able to be here today because of Yoochun; we're always there for each other. He's very reliable. I have more confidence in the future that we'll look even more charismatic onstage. We'll work even harder, and I hope we'll have even more amazing performances together. I love you, Yoochun!

Yoochun: About Jaejoong hyung...Although it's much the same with the other members, I feel like I rely on Jaejoong hyung the most. The other members don't really drink, so when we're really worn out, Jaejoong's always drunk with me, talked with me, and given me a lot of support. Thank you. You...are the kind of person I will always want to have by my side in the future.

Jaejoong: Yunho, is my friend! When I'm exhausted and powerless, he has the strength that I don't have. Yesterday...at dawn yesterday Yunho gave me some support too. I'm happy with our 5 members' current situations, and because of this happiness, I always think: as time goes by, will this happiness disappear? Suddenly I feel unsettled. Maybe it's because autumn is coming. Yunho is different from me; he always looks towards the positive sides. He's always been like this, and I hope in the future he'll still be there to support me. He's really the best leader. Thank you!

Yunho: Our eldest and our youngest, Changmin. Honestly, although we all fight and get impatient, your thoughts are always the deepest. You know what your hyungs need, and to me, you're a best friend. When I'm going through hard times, you're always there to give me advice. Because you're my dongsaeng, you can't say too much to me. Instead, we have a lot of small talks. Although you're our youngest, you're also our friend. A lot of the time, it's hard to say thank you because I'm your hyung. Sitting here today, however, I want to say thank you. Thank you Changmin ah, thank you.

Changmin: Junsu hyung is blood type B, just like me. People around us always say things like this. Whether it be me or the other members, or people around us, everyone is always saying, "If only I could have a child like Junsu," or "If only I could meet a guy like Junsu." Being with the people around you gives off a very comfortable vibe. It doesn't matter if you make an understandable or non-sensical joke, it always gives people very relaxed feelings. Because of this, you've given us a lot of comfort, and a lot of courage. Also...whether you mean to or not, you give us a lot of support, and you're a part of TVXQ that we can't be without. There's many things I'm sorry for, and also many things I'm thankful for. I want to take this chance to say thank you. I love you.

Dong Bang Shin Ki member, Young Woong JaeJoong has revealed that he was a gum seller when he was young.

Young Woong JaeJoong has captured the hearts of his fans with his prince-like looks. However, during his appearance on KBS 2TV’s Happy Together Season 3, he revealed for the first time that he was once a gum seller when he was young.

When he was 16, JaeJoong decided to go to Seoul to fulfil his dream of becoming a singer. JaeJoong, who lived a hard life while he was at Seoul, said “The owner of the house I was staying in said ‘If you can’t produce the rent by tomorrow, I’ll evict you from your room.”

In order to come up with the 150 000 won needed to pay for the rent, he started working, taking up various jobs including being one of 100 000 soldiers for the movie, Taegeukgi Hwinallimyeo (Taegukgi: The Brotherhood of War) and selling gum, JaeJoong explained, to the great surprise of the audience and his fellow guests alike.

When JaeJoong was selling gum, due to his normal appearance (as in he didn’t have the appearance of someone who would usually do that type of work), admitted that “People would usually mistake and think that I had stolen the gum, which made it hard for me.” JaeJoong, who would walk around all day trying to sell the gum also said “Out of desperation, I went into a supermarket, where the woman working there took pity on me and said ‘I’ll buy whatever gum you have left, so don’t do that type of work anymore.’ before giving me 150 000 won.”

From this, JaeJoong continued, “Through this event, I got even more determined in my attempt to become a singer.”. JaeJoong also showed his thankfulness towards the woman he met in the supermarket during the broadcast.
