Viewers Cry Along With Moon Geun Young

Viewers were touched and dropped their tears when watching Moon Geun Young cry in yesterday’s episode of the “The Painter of the Wind“. In episode 3, Shin Yoon Bok (Moon Geun Young) cried after her brother took the punishment on behalf of her. Shin Yoon Bok had secretly drawn a painting of Queen Jeong Soon during an outfield trip. However, Queen Jeong Soon found out about it and wanted to punish and even kill the painter. Her teacher Kim Hong Do (Park Shin Yang) and her brother tried to protect her by sending her away.

Yoon Bok however returned to take the punishment herself. But eventually, her brother took the punishment on behalf of her and will not be able to become a painter for the rest of his life. Feeling guilty and miserable about this, Shin Yoon Bok crushed her right hand with a stone, determined to give up her painting career as well. Viewers were amazed and touched by Moon Geun Young’s acting.

Show Luo openly feels Chun's butt infront of Charlene

A few days ago, Chun and Charlene went on “100% Entertainment” hosted by Show Luo to promote for their upcoming film “Butterfly Lovers”. Show, who has sparked gay rumours with Chun does not avoid to flirt. As soon as they meet, he grabs Chun’s chest, and this scared Chun so much that he retreated 3 steps. Afterwards, during the “Acting Test”, Show acts as a tram driver and harasses Chun and Charlene, he then takes advantage of the situation and grabs Chun’s butt, Chun unable to stand it any longer, yells, “You’re so pervert! Keep feeling me up!” But Show actually indigently replies, “You’re my girlfriend, it doesn’t matter!”

Chun and Charlene also flirted with each other during the show; both saying the other has a big appetite. Charlene teased Chun saying he is a cow, because he can eat 10 Japanese sushi in one meal, but Chun quickly retorted back, “You’re the pig! You can eat 2 bowls of rice for supper!”

A NEW radio station is now available in cyberspace, starring none other than Taiwan's top girl band S.H.E. For the group's latest album FM S.H.E, the bubbly trio Selina, Hebe and Ella have turned themselves into music deejays.

Since 23 Sep, their chirpy voices have been heard every night on a special Internet radio website set up by their record label, HIM Music. As a deejay, Selina, 27, is her usual sweet, girlish self as she discusses current affairs and bizarre tales around the world. Ella, 27, gets to be a 'late-night deejay', who keeps insomniacs and night owls company. As for Hebe, 25, she transforms into the cynical Madam Xi Bi, who plays agony aunt to young girls troubled by affairs of the heart.

Kelly Chen Gets Married on Oct 2

Hong Kong actress-singer Kelly Chen married her longtime boyfriend, Alex Lau, on Thursday after 16 years of courtship.

During an interview before the wedding, Kelly Chen said she will continue working after the wedding, and will only stop temporarily if she gets pregnant.

She also said she might be moved to tears at the wedding ceremony.

Johnnie To's 'Sparrow' tops Asia Pacific noms

SYDNEY -- "The Sparrow," a crime adventure from Hong Kong director Johnnie To, led the way at the second Asia Pacific Screen Awards with four nominations Tuesday.

Turkish film "Three Monkeys," directed by Nuri Bilge Ceylan and screening in the Pusan International Film Festival's World Cinema section, received three noms.

Six of the nominated films, including "Monkeys," "Tulpan" and the animated feature "Waltz With Bashir" (Israel), are co-productions with European countries, indicating the international flavor of the awards.

"Sparrow" also picked up nominations for directing, cinematography and acting (Simon Yam), while "Monkeys" also received nods in the director and cinematography categories.

But it was on a visit to the Bishan Home for the Intellectually Disabled that he was mobbed. Not by the residents there, but by the nursing aides from the Philippines. Some even managed to kiss him, leaving him looking stunned.

At the home, the humble star went around shaking hands, signing autographs and hugging some of the residents, who seemed happy to see him. But far more excited were the nursing aides, some of whom went wild. More than 10 of them rushed onto the stage to take a group photo with Si Won, and while getting ready, one of them dabbed the perspiration on his face with a red T-shirt. Then, the unimaginable happened. One nursing aide leaned forward and kissed Si Won's left cheek, triggering a copycat reaction among the others.

Choi Jin-shil found dead, indicators point to suicide

The beautiful and talented Choi Jin-shil (age 40, most recently of The Last Scandal of My Life) has been found dead in her home in Seoul.

According to police, her body was discovered at 6:15 am on October 2 and the reasons for her passing are under investigation.

Police said, “We received a report that Ms. Choi had committed suicide and arrived to confirm her death.”

Another officer: “This morning, we received a report from her family that she had hanged herself in the shower stall.”

Choi had recently gone through some rough times supporting her friend Jung Sun-hee, widow of deceased Ahn Jae-hwan, and had battled rumors making the recent rounds that said she supposedly had lent him money, which she roundly denied. But what a shock — following a messy divorce with baseball player Jo Sung-min, her two small children, ages 5 and 7, were under her sole care. Note: this is very new information, so reports are bound to change in the coming days.

Charlene has hormonal problems

Twins received an award from "Outstanding Performing Arts Charity Night" 傑出愛心演藝人大獎 at the Hong Kong Grand Hotel the other night. Ah Sa attended the award ceremony on her own and Gillian was nowhere to be seen. Ah Sa explained Gillian is still resting. She said working on her own is more tiring then two people working together because they can support each other.

Ah Sa was quite embarrassed when she told reporters she has been very tired lately "I have lost quite a lot of blood today and I don't get enough of sleep. My period is irregular; sometimes I have my period 2 to 3 times a month. I become anaemic and I get headaches and backaches. The doctor said I have problems with my hormones." (Is your mom worried about you?) My mom knows about it. (What about Ronald?, is he worried about you?) Ah Sa laughed "You can ask him for me."

Joyce drinks TVB milk

Joyce Cheng started the show for "TVB Anniversary Awards Ceremony 2008" lighting ceremony. She sang her new drama theme song " "Off Pedder" (畢打自己人). She appeared to be a bit nervous and admitted afterward that she was quite anxious about the performance. She only got the theme song a few days ago and she didn't have enough time to practice the song. "I like this song very much. I hope I can hear my song every day. TVB really loves me to arrange me to perform first."

Joyce felt she has officially joined the TVB family just like her mother and she has been drinking TVB milk since she was in her mother's tummy.
